Grout Sealing is the Key to Grout That Stays Clean.

Grout sealing is the key to keeping tile and grout clean after a full
restoration tile and grout cleaning. Unsealed grout is very porous
and water soaks the dirt and detergent residue deep into the grout. This makes normal grout cleaning much more difficult.
Grout sealer works by changing the grouts chemistry so water won't penetrate quickly and oils don't stick the the surface. This keeps dirt and detergent up on the surface of the grout where is can be removed with normal tile and grout cleaning.
Floor Cleaning Experts offers two choices for sealing tile and grout. Our standard grout sealer that is included in our full Restoration tile and grout cleaning and sealing package last between three and five years. Neutral tile and grout cleaning detergents need to be used with this type of sealer as hash grout cleaning detergents can quickly break down the grout sealer.
Drytreat Stainproof grout sealer is a product that permanently bonds to the molecular structure of the grout. This means the sealer actually permanently becomes part of the grout. This permanent grout sealer never breaks down. Floor Cleaning Experts is a Drytreat Stainproof Certified Applicator and offers a manufactures 15 year warrant on Drytreat Stainproof sealer.

Tile and Grout Cleaning-Like New Every Time-Here is how Tampa

Tile and grout cleaning that gets grout as clean as brand new everytime? Is it possible? Yes Tampa it is possible. Tile and grout cleaning is mostly about grout cleaning. The tile is non-porous and easy to clean. The grout on the other hand is a concrete sponge that loads up with dirt and detergent making it impossible for most people to get clean as new.

Floor Cleaning Experts uses uses a two detergent grout cleaning process combined with a truck mounted steam cleaning of the tile and grout to get the grout clean as new. Our first detergent breaks down greases and oils in the grout and suspends the soil in the grout. This is brushed into the grout lines with a grout brush. The tile and grout are then cleaned with a truck mounted steam cleaning machine. Steaming hot water is used to flush the dirt from deep withing the grout channel.

The key to getting the grout clean as new is the grout restoration acid cleaning. The grout restoration acid makes the grout release its hold on the remaining grout stains. This is again rinsed with our truck mounted steam cleaning a machine to thoroughly remove all the deeply embedded soils and detergent residue.

Edges are just as important as the center of the floor. We have special edge rinsing tool so that the edges come as clean as the rest of the floor. We are extremely picky about the details.

Once its perfect we seal the grout to help keep it clean and easy to care for. We will talk about different sealers available in our next blog.
